Welcome to NeoTropic
NeoTropic is powered by the Movement Martials—a partnership between Kick, a fighter obsessed with technique, and Thick, a strength coach who understands what it takes to build lasting performance. Together, we’re building fight wear that actually respects your body, your training, and your standards.
We’re committed to style: without plastic, without compromise.
-
Minimal Plastic
The only plastic in our shorts is found in the elastic waistband. We want to maximize performance while minimizing negative effects on your long-term health.
-
Crafted from the Jungle
Our shorts are made with the highest quality bamboo fabric. No Polyester, No Problem.
Why Bamboo?
-
Let it Breathe
Bamboo is breathable, durable, and naturally moisture-wicking. Unlike polyester, it doesn’t trap heat or stink after training. It’s the fabric we wanted but could never find in fightwear, so we made it ourselves.
-
No Polyester?
Polyester is synthetic, it sheds microplastics and can leach chemicals linked to endocrine disruption. That’s a problem for your health, your hormones, and your training.
-
Future-Built Style
Our aesthetic blends combat function with tropical edge. Our shorts look how you should fight: Smart, aggressive, and with flair.

Frequently Asked Questions
What are these shorts made of?
Our shorts are crafted from bamboo-based fabric with a touch of spandex for flexibility. They’re breathable, soft, and built to accomadate movements as intense as a high kick.
What do I train for in these?
Anything! We designed these as all purpose combat shorts for MMA, kickboxing, muay thai, or no-gi jiu jitsu, but let us know how they feel when you lift, run, or train in your preferred style!
How do they fit?
The shorts have a loose, athletic fit to accommodate kicking mobility. They should feel snug around your waist with the elastic waistband, and barely there otherwise.
Are they machine washable?
Wash on delicate. HANG DRY (prone to shrinkage).
Do NOT bleach or use harsh detergents, you wanna stand out when you're on the mats or in the ring.
High heat and harsh chemicals will break the material down.
